Mix-n-Stain CF680 Small Ligand Labeling Kit



Product Description

Mix-n-Stain™ small ligand labeling kits are designed for rapid labeling of low molecular weight (MW approx. 150 -5000) and relatively high affinity biological ligands (or substrates) without a purification step.  The ligand to be labeled must contain an aliphatic amine group that is biologically inert.  The amino group will form a covalent linkage with the provided reactive CF dyes.  For example, suitable ligands or substrates include SNAP-tag®, CLIP-tag™ and HaloTag® ligand derivatives that have an aliphatic amine. This kit is for labeling the small ligand with far-red/near-infrared fluorescent CF™680 for surface staining of live cells. CF™680 is brighter than other spectrally similar dyes. Most importantly, antibody conjugates prepared from CF™680 have by far the best signal-to-noise ratio than antibody conjugates prepared from other spectrally similar dyes.
